Alison Mitchell, MAIS, LCSW, is a PhD candidate at the Smith College School for Social Work, adjunct faculty at the University of Maine School of Social Work, and a mental health practitioner in central Maine. Her research focuses on supporting substance-exposed children and families, particularly those with opioid exposure. Ms. Mitchell combines practical experience with research expertise, measuring the impact of service provision for clients and staff alike, using findings to guide future programming or undertakings for agencies and research partners. She serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocates for children (CASA) volunteer guardian ad litem for children in protection cases, and was formerly a K-12 educator and administrator.

Since she first joined the cryptocurrency industry in 2015, Ms. Demirors has been actively managing and leading investment firms; supporting and advising founders building early stage companies; and leveraging her experience and network to accelerate the growth of the crypto asset class and the firms developing it. In her role at CoinShares, a digital asset manager with $1 Bn in assets under management, Ms. Demirors oversees strategy, and focuses on developing and managing the active strategies portfolio to provide institutional investors with thematic, risk-managed exposure to the emerging crypto asset ecosystem. In addition, she serves as the managing director of the firm’s US operations. Ms. Demirors holds a BA in Mathematical Economics from Rice University, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. After graduating from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, Kimberly Redmond started her journalism career in Northern New Jersey at a weekly newspaper.
